♫I know things are bad an getting worse
but after all this I can rest awhile♫

Ok, so I finally got a job at school. The text transcriber job at school finally called for me last Friday. I started on Tuesday. So far, it's pretty simplistic and non stressfull (knock on wood)(I don't really get that expression but I think it's an appropriate time to do so). My first day I made $36! Which I will see come my paycheck on the 8th of May. I get paid every month. Everyone seems to know so much more about jobs than I do. Like when I got fired over a voice mail, I didn't think too much of it. However everyone else gave me an "ohhhh" or "ohhh that sucks". Now I tell them I get paid every month and I get the same reactions. At least I get the money. That's all that matters. So yea, yesterday was a really kickback day. The supervisor person left for his lunch break and told me I didn't have anything to do until he came back so I just went online for an hour. Then when he did come back he just had me convert scanned book chapters into another program, which was as simple as open, save as. Really. I'm schedulled for 12 hours a week but I might do more, depending on whether or not I really understand this job. Right now there are like three converting programs and many different settings as to which I can save them to. Also, each student has different needs as to what they want their material saved as so yea. Options. I'm pretty happy with the work I'm doing, I just want to be more comfrotable knowing that I'm doing the right things. I like this job though, very flexible. $8 an houuuurrrrrr. Chea. And I get to listen to music and make phone calls while working because the whole job is really all on the computer. Selecting everything on scanned pages, push buttons, save as. =)

♫Never had to knock on wood
but I know someone who has
which makes me wonder if I could
makes me wonder if I could♫

I've already planned out what I'm going to buy with my money. Haha. An Ipod (because my mp3 sadly has a battery life of like 5 hours) and a new camera (hand-me downs only last so long). Fill in the rest with food expenses, gifts, and whatnot. Oh, and my mom said she won't give me spending money anymore because I have a job now. Well, it's kinda why I wanted a job (independence from asking for money), but I didn't get paid yet...

♫That's the impression that I get♫

Um, yea. That's the excitement in my life right now. Everything else is standard. Like Pilates. It hurt me. My muscles cried out for help. I don't feel any more flexible...
