9:53 p.m. - 2007-07-01 I mean before she just implied it by discussing her weight at my age but today she said, "you're getting fat." Haha. I got a little annoyed at first but it's nothing to lose weight over. I did want to get fit by going to the pool and I was going to start last Thursday/Friday but I got blood drawn and during midday the pool gets packed. This week hopefully I'll go through with it. Anyway, I'm good now cause today I went to the ANIME EXPO! Went with Chris and Cintya. And we didn't have to wait in like like those others who got the full pass. Just to the dealer's room. Awesome. The line to get into the dealer's room was pretty long but it went fast after the doors opened. Browsed around for two hours buying stuff. I actually didn't buy much. There weren't alot of freebies either. I was sad about that. And the manga and dvd's weren't on sale at that many stands! AX is getting cheap... =( Boo. But the last stand I went to I found a good handful of things to keep me happy. After the expo all the Pike restaurants were packed, so we walked down to Boston's. Ok food, not the best I'm afraid. Oh well, at least we didn't have to walk back up the hill to get to the Weston hotel. I'm still surprised that the arcade is open 24 hrs. They had some pretty awesome games. I wanted to play the DDR supuernova game since I haven't seen it anywhere but the line was long for it. And it was surrounded by DDR maniacts anyway. Played Puzzle Fighter which I will hopefully get in the mail soon as well. Lots of cosplayers as usual. I didn't see any costumes outrageously accurate though. Probably because I wasn't really looking. When I'm shopping at the dealer's room, I notice I'm on tunnel vision. But the Super Mario group was awesome with their boombox playing the Super Mario theme. I am pretty content. I could have stayed there for another hour but Cintya had to work later and I know Chris was getting bored. I need to find me an anime manic to shop with. =) -keren
