Or so they say.

I like Modest Mouse. They sing about optimism. At least Dashboard and Float On are about optimism. They make me happy, just like Happy Roses.

It was like festival weekend for me this week. Which I enjoyed very much. First was the L.A. County Fair, which is always awesome. Spent eight hours there walking around the pavilions with Elda and Karina. Ate some carnival food such as fried asparagus and cheese on a stick (which isn't quite out of the ordinary). Wanted some fried oreos, but felt like eating something a little more healthy (which were the asparagus). Discovered the most beautiful roses on Earth. They were rainbow colored. You'd think they'd be a little overboard, but no, they're gorgeous.

Saturday went to this lobster festival in Long Beach which wasn't really that great. We went to another festival the same day at the convention center. Harvest Festival. Mostly old school arts and crafts. Got some popcorn out of it and delicious spaghetti.

And today I went with my parents to this Moon Festival at the Puente Hills Mall. There was also some sort of orchid festival going on as well inside the mall which proved to be more awesome than that of the Moon Festival. Bought myself an orchid which will hopefully bloom into a beautiful pink grapefruit color flower. =)

I realize, I absolutely love the movie Sweet Home Alabama. It reminds me of Kate and Leopold.

Haha. It's a movie I can never get tired of. I love the ending.
