10:07 p.m. - 2007-11-27 WHY is the hardest part: getting started? Professors either need to cut out essays entirely or make me do more. Because this whole in between thing isn't working out for me. I think I used to be a decent writer. Many months out of practice causes degration! I have this essay due on Thursday for my asian studies class and right now it's just sounding like a bunch of factual/non-intellectual BS put together. It's like, "Japan is a very independent country. Their workforce depends on each other creating a good economy. This is a great strength of Japan." It's like a 5th grader's work in current age. I mean, even my cousin who's in 4th grade is learning algebra. I didn't learn that until 6th grade. =( I always slack off the week before finals though. Because winter break is so close I can taste it. Taste sweet days of sleeping in, making home-cooked meals, and just chillaxing. I need to watch the world turn every once in a while and I haven't done that since school and work started. Honestly, I don't get bored easily even when doing nothing. =) Pgs.1-2 finished (rough draft); pgs. 3-5 due. Besides that, I've been doing lots of origami at work. There's no work to do so I make stuff to decorate the office. My desk is getting filled with origami slowly. =) Pretty nice. It makes my desk feel pretty. -keren
