4:41 p.m. - 2008-02-10 I promised myself that I would start my essay Saturday morning! And now here it is on Sunday near night. Hm. But at least I got some awesome books at the downtown library to reference my essay with. <3 downtown L.A. So, Thursday went down a little roughly. Didn't get to bowl at the homecoming bowling night cause we got there late. But I still got a free um... plastic bowling pin shaped drink holding thing. =) And a picture with a frame! Friday came up and I went to the Ice House with Johnny and friends. A pretty good show though the $9 sodas killed me. Ended around 10:30pm when I jammed to pick up Maria at SC. I drove down/up the 2 freeway which has this crazy slim curve. I held my breath through the whole curving drive. Arrived, picked up Maria, figured it was too late to go to the school dance so we drive to the Avalon. Parking was a bizarre $40 so we jammed to IHOP. Saw an awesome random bike mob coming down the street!!! Woo! Honked and yelled encouragement to them. Drove through the streets of Koreatown back to SC where I slept over at. We were kinda bummed that we dressed up and didn't club but we will. Oh yes, we will. Lol, my club shirt under my mediocre shirt... And today, I went to pick up a new phone from AT&T! My newer version of my phone. I don't know what it's called, like Sony Ericson 800i or something. It's a pretty little thing. All slim and whatnot. Not like my chubby old phone. Had to transfer all my pictures and videos from my old phone to my computer to save. After, went to Chinatown to see the Chinese New Year festival, which was surprisingly small. I guess all the main event stuff was on Saturday like the parade. I got mad when the Harrah's casino guy didn't give me a free bag. He sees me, and is all "21 only". Ok, wtf do you have in that bag that requires you to be 21+? Unless you're giving away mini bar tequila bottles... >=( But anyway, there was a pretty good band playing there. They were pretty too. =) I won a $5 JCPenney gift card at darts. That made me happy. Left soon after to Little Tokyo where we ate at my favorite ramen place. Yum. Jam to the central library where I power walk to freaking all levels of the library to find an open computer to look for the book titles since I left the piece of paper that had the info on them at home. Finally found some 15 minute internet access computers to go to where people actually spent the WHOLE 15 minutes at... Find a good variety of books to help with the report. Go to the manga section to get something nicer to read but only find some mediocre manga. Oh well, good enough. Dinner's up now then off to write my ass off. 6 pages! -keren
